FORT WORTH — The Frogs Today Show with Brian Estridge has turned 5 … episodes old.
Next thing you know we’ll getting our driver’s license.
The growing process and putting life in balance is part of the second installment of Brian’s interview with TCU great LaDainian Tomlinson. He talks about how he learned to manage the demands of football while also spending quality time with his family. It was hard to leave his wife and kids behind while dialed-in on football.
Tomlinson had to make hard choices, like twice turning down being featured on the Madden NFL video game. There are lessons to be learned in this part of the Tomlinson interview, as well as Part I.
Max Duggan, who is competing to be the Frogs’ starting quarterback this fall, also hops on the show for the first time. There was plenty of football talk, including adjusting to the new system being implemented by offensive coordinator Garrett Riley. But football wasn’t the entire talk.
Duggan reveals that he played three other sports in high school. Despite finishing third in the 200 meters in Iowa, baseball was his No. 2 sport. Those occasional 0-for-4 days, though, drove him crazy.
The members Lupton Drinking Club are introduced to those who don’t know about their TCU baseball fandom and new podcast that is part of the growing Roxo Media House portfolio.
