TCU football continues to rake in the postseason honors. Cornerback Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson has been named a First-Team All-American by the Associated Press. Hodges-Tomlinson was also named a first team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America.

The recognition comes on the heels of Hodges-Tomlinson being named the 2022 Paycom Jim Thorpe Award winner, given annually to the nation’s top defensive back. Hodges-Tomlinson is the second TCU player in three seasons to win the Thorpe Award.

Hodges-Tomlinson was also named to the All Big 12 first team for the third consecutive season. The senior allowed a paltry 38.9 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks this season, lowest in the Big 12. He totaled 42 tackles, three interceptions, 11 pass breakups, and a forced fumble this season while playing 857 snaps this season, most for a cornerback in the Big 12.
