Sonny Dykes gets emotional on Max Duggan … for good reason

DALLAS — Sonny Dykes got a little emotional Saturday afternoon.

And, no, it had nothing to do about walking back onto the field at Gerald J. Ford Stadium for the first time after leaving the SMU program for rival TCU. Or even seeing his Horned Frogs pull away for a 42-34 victory and improving to 3-0 on the season.
