NEW YORK — Dressed in a plaid suit, purple button-down shirt and purple tie, Max Duggan looked the part Saturday as he sat in front of the media. Duggan, along with the other Heisman finalists — Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett, USC quarterback Caleb Williams and Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud — answered questions before heading off to Jazz at Lincoln Center for the trophy presentation.
As he has all year, Duggan did and said everything right this weekend. He spoke highly of his teammates, talked about his love of Fort Worth and the TCU community, and expressed his gratitude for being able to represent TCU alongside three of college football’s “biggest brands.”
Duggan even joked about “just trying to keep up” when asked about his suit.
“He was a little worried about his suit,” Stroud said. “But he looks fly.”
As he stood on the main stage Saturday night, Duggan simply couldn’t help but continue to be the humble, dignified, high-character human being Frogs fans know he is.
