KANSAS CITY, Mo. — TCU coach Jamie Dixon took the stage Wednesday at the Big 12 Basketball Tipoff as the leader of a preseason top-15 program. The Frogs appeared at No. 14 in the Associated Press preseason poll, the highest preseason rank in Horned Frogs history.
That’s what happens when a program pushes a No. 1 seed to the limit in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, and then brings back all five starters for the next season.
The expectations go up.
Or, at least, public expectations.
