There’s only one top-10 matchup being played on Championship Weekend, and it’s between a pair of purple teams.
The rematch between Kansas State and TCU in the Big 12 title game is for more than bragging rights and a big crystal bowl — a berth in the College Football Playoff is on the line for the Horned Frogs.
To get some insight to these two teams from a national perspective, we turned to Max Olson of The Athletic. Olson provided plenty of good tidbits about the position battles to watch, the perception of TCU from across college football, Max Duggan’s Heisman candidacy, the future of Garrett Riley and Joe Gillespie, and even had some nuggets on Gary Patterson’s next move.
