The more we think we know about the Big 12 Conference this year, the more we learn that we don’t know all that much.

Parity is the word of the week, as Oklahoma, fresh off of a 49-0 bludgeoning at the hands of Texas, knocked Kansas out of the rankings; Iowa State was within dropped catch a missed targeting call of upsetting Texas in Austin; and Baylor fell on a Thursday night at West Virginia.

TCU is the league’s only unbeaten left standing at 6-0, but they Horned Frogs will be tested this weekend by Kansas State, still unblemished in conference play.

Oh, and it’s basketball season now, too.
