FORT WORTH — TCU landed a major transfer portal piece Tuesday, when former Alabama offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer announced his commitment to TCU.

The former five-star offensive tackle and Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal star committed to TCU in an exclusive interview with Frogs Today (watch below).

“I’ve been praying about it with my family, talking to my friends about it,” Brockermeyer said. “And I have decided that I will be committing to TCU this spring, and I’m really excited for it. I just can’t wait to get started.”

Brockermeyer is the fourth transfer to commit to TCU since the portal officially opened Dec. 5, and all four have come from the SEC. He’s the No. 3 offensive tackle currently in the portal, rated as a four-star by the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
